Traffic Management Designer / Operations Staff

Position Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Traffic Management Planner to develop comprehensive traffic guidance schemes and management plans. The successful candidate will ensure smooth traffic flow and compliance with safety regulations in high-traffic areas. This role involves detailed coordination with clients, internal teams, and regulatory bodies, and is an integral part of our operations team.

Key Responsibilities:

– **Develop Traffic Management Plans**: Create effective and compliant traffic guidance schemes that align with current laws, policies, and procedures.
– **Client Consultation**: Engage with clients to understand and address their specific traffic management needs.
– **Risk Assessment**: Conduct thorough risk assessments and hazard identification to prioritize safety.
– **Stakeholder Liaison**: Facilitate consultations with key stakeholders, including road authorities, local councils, police, and public transport entities.
– **Precision and Timeliness**: Ensure all traffic plans are accurate and executed on schedule.
– **Support Daily Operations**: Assist with daily operational tasks to enhance traffic management efforts.
– **Operational Role**: Contribute to the broader operations of the organization by supporting various operational activities and initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

– **Experience**: Proven experience in traffic management planning preferred. Candidates with relevant skills and a keen interest in traffic management will also be considered.
– **Certifications**: Possession of a Construction White Card and a valid C Class Driver’s License. Certification in Traffic Management Plan Preparation (RIICWD503E) is highly desirable.
– **Technical Proficiency**: Experience with Rapid Plan or similar software. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
– **Attention to Detail**: Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
– **Communication Skills**: Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
– **Time Management**: Exceptional time management abilities.
– **Initiative**: Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
